Eric Mann, a veteran of the Congress of Equality and United Auto Workers New Directions Movement, wrote Comrade George: An Investigation into the Life, Political Thought, and Assassination of George Jackson in 1974. He is the director of the Labor/Community Strategy Center in South Los Angeles.
